Don’t be despair of Allah’s mercy

Allah is most merciful and most powerful. He can do what He wants. We humans loss the hope very soon which should not be like this. We should have strong believed on the mercy of Allah. Here the question is why we have lost the hope?

Why we despair from the mercy of Allah?
The basic reason of despairing is we have gone out of the way. We are not trying to follow that track which Allah has told us. We have much fear in our hearts about the punishment. This fear is so much excessive that we don’t have any hope. We feel that we have done so many sins and now these sins are not pardonable. We forget that how much he is merciful. When a Muslim creates a lot of fictions about his sins he despairs from the mercy of Allah. A person who feels that the sin is much bigger and feels the guilty need to become aware about the greatness of Allah. When a person doesn’t feel the mercy of Allah he despairs.

What happens when a person despairs from the mercy of Allah?

In Islam despair is a “KUFR”. When a person despairs from the mercy of Allah he can’t do anything. Whenever he does any work he loses the hope in advance. Allah always gives man according to his thinking and hopes. So the person who does not have any hope can’t do anything positively.

In the light of Quran and Sunnah:-

Allah has written in a book that “'My Mercy overpowers My Anger”.  This book is with Allah on His throne.

In Quran it is said that:-

· “Say, ‘O My slaves who have committed excesses against their own souls, despair not of Allah’s mercy. Verily, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, He is the All-forgiving, the All-kind.”

In Quran many names are given to Allah which show Him most merciful. Some of these names are Al-Ghafoor, Al Afuw, Al tawab,Al haleem, Al-rehman, Al-raheem,
Abu Sa'id (radiyallahu anhu) reported a narration in which he said that the Prophet (sallallahu alaiyhi wa sallam) said:
"Truly the devil said, 'By my honor, O Lord, I shall never stop misguiding Your servants so long as life remains in their bodies.' The Almighty replied, 'By My Honor, I shall never stop forgiving them so long as they ask forgiveness from me.”

Shiekh Shibli told an incident that:-

“Once we were traveling in a caravan of travelers and were set upon by a gang of thieves and they surrounded the caravan and threatened us. All were Muslim men. They took our belongings and dragged us along to their hideout. They took us to their leader. The leader was in the hideout with the rest, so when they came to their leader, the thieves made a display of all the spoils of war and a display of everything they had gained in the raid and a lot of the things they had were dried foods, since travelers take dried foods on journeys, so the thieves were presenting these dried foods to their leader. The leader said, 'No, no, I'm fasting.' I couldn't contain myself, so I said, 'Subhannallah! You raid, you loot, you steal, you are the leader of a gang of thieves and you say you are fasting?' The leader replied (to me), 'Listen, I always try and keep something in which I could have the hope and mercy and forgiveness of Allah. I do not cut myself off totally from Allah azzowajal and I know how evil I am and despite my evil and despite my sins, I always try to hold on to something and for me, it is the fast. Sheikh Shibli continues, "Later, we reached the holy land of Makkah and I saw a person doing tawaaf around the Ka'bah and he had become extremely thin and frail because of excessive worship and ibaadah. And he was doing the dhikr of Allah and he was doing tawaaf around the Ka'bah with much fervor and with great feeling and devotion. When I looked at him closely, it was the same leader of the gang of thieves, so I went up to him to inquire and he said, 'Exactly as I told you, I always hold on to something in which I could have the hope in the mercy of Allah and through these fasts, Allah azzowajal gave me the towfique to repent and change.'"  ”

SubhanAllah. It is the hope. It is a strong belief. Allah is Rehman and Raheem. A person who did 100 murders was pardoned by Allah Almighty. Allah likes and loves that man who turns toward Him.

If we have committed as much sins as the drops of the sea are even then no need to worry. Allah’s mercy is there. If the one drop of mercy will b mixed in that sea of sins your whole sins can be remove. Imagine if one drop of mercy has so much strength then what will be if He shows all his mercy on one person.
So don’t be despair from the mercy of Allah and have hope for the best. You will definitely get that for what you are hoping.

Hijab is the beauty of a Muslim woman

In Islam woman is like a pearl which is hidden in shell which is priceless. Wearing Hijab is a graceful act of a Muslim woman. Hijab is a dress code of a Muslim woman. It is a religious duty of a woman to wear Hijab. Allah says in Quran:-

“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e.screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Qur’an, 33:59)

Hijab brings true spirituality in a Muslim woman and she becomes more attractive toward Allah. Muslim women are modest and Allah loves them more than any woman of the world. Allah gives a shield of protection to a muslimmah and that shield is Hijab. The beauty of a Muslim woman is in Hijab. Hijab shows that this woman has modesty in herself and modesty is important and appreciates by Allah. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said that:-

“ Allah is Modest and he likes modesty. Modesty is a quality which is given to a Muslimaah by Allah Almighty so it’s the duty of a woman to protect that modesty. How a woman can give protection to that modesty? When a woman wears Hijab the modesty of that woman is protected. Hijab has the quality to protect the modesty of a woman. Allah says in Quran:-

"And stay in your houses and do not display yourselves (at-tabaruj) like that of the times of ignorance ...”

 Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said:-
"The best of your women is the affectionate, the fertile (in productivity), the propitious (favorable), the consultative if they fear Allah. The most evil of your women are the Mutabar'rijat (those who do at-tabaruj), the Mutakhayyilat (who strut/swagger), and they are the hypocrites. Those who enter Al-Jannah (the Paradise) are like the Cough Crow."

This dress code of a Muslimmah wards off bad and evil intentions. It is the most common principle of Islam to make a system of goodness and virtue. In a society where men and women can easily interact to each other without any limitation can be a society of evils. Islam puts some restrictions on these opposite genders. Hijab in Islam allows man to look at woman with the eye of honour. The Muslim woman who wears Hijab gets honour which a woman who is without Hijab cannot get. The basic aim of Hijab is to guard the modest of a Muslim man. The women who don’t wear Hijab can be easily trapped by Shytan. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) Said that:-
"Verily a woman walks in the form of Shaytaan. Her approaching and recoiling are in the form of Shaytaan."

At another place Hazrat Muhammed(PBUH) said:-

"Verily the woman is aurah ( anything that is concealed by shame and prudency) whenever she leaves the home the Shaitan raises his eyes and looks towards her. When she is in the innermost part of the home it is then that she is closest to her Lord ."

In Hijab A muslim women feel a great sense of security and he enjoys the honour and dignity in her house and out of the house. If a woman does not wear Hijab she creates evil in the society as Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said that:-

"There is nothing left after me more dangerous to man than the temptations of women."

The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave order to His wives and the other Muslim women to wear Hijab so that they can be recognized aas Muslim woman. May Allah make us able to protect this shield which is gifted to us By Allah Almighty and to protect our honour and dignity.(Amen)

Do love with Allah but have fear from Him

Allah is most merciful and generous. He loves us more so we should love Allah more than everything. Let’s take an analysis of our personal life. We care much about that person with whom we love more. In heart we have fear about that person with whom we love. This fear  is because of this, we care that our action should not hurt that person. Same is the thing which is with the love of Allah. We love Allah but we should have fear from Allah. This fear will help us to be careful in your actions.

It is one of the most fundamental principles of Islam to love Allah but to have fear from Him. In Quran it is said that:-

“Those that they call upon, they (themselves) seek means of access to their Lord as to which of them shall be nearest (to Him).95 They hope for His mercy and fear His chastisement.’96 Verily, the chastisement of Your Lord is worth taking heed.” (al-Isra, 57).

In Hadith it is said that:-

“I know Allah the best and I fear Allah the most from among you.” (Bukhari, Adab 72; Muslim, Fadail 35)

The meaning of fear:-
In Arabic for the fear of Allah the word “taqwa” is being used. The root meaning of “ taqwa” is to prevent and to protect something.
A person who fears from Allah actually wants to protect himself from the punishment. Fear from Allah makes able to a man that he follows the command of Allah Almighty. Allah Himself says that have fear from Him. In Quran it is said that:-

“To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth. We charged those who were given the Book before you, as (We have charged) you, that you fear Allah. But if you disbelieve, then to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth. Allah is All-sufficient, All-laudable.”

Fear from Allah is a path of:-

·         Salvation
·         Forgiveness
·         And to attain Allah’s mercy

It is a best thing to have fear from Allah Almighty.

How does fear from Allah come?

·         Be aware from the instructions of Allah Almighty.
·         Have strong believe that Allah is watching you.
·         Follow the instructions which have given by Allah Almighty.
·         Believe and fear should be together.
·         Weep out in the fear of Allah Almighty.

The importance of fear from Allah:-

“Who believes in Allah and the Last Day; and whosoever fears Allah, He will find a way out for him.”(Sura e Tallaq: 2)

In the light of this verse we cans say that Allah does not let him down who has fear from Him. When we have fear from Allah our life becomes change. Our ambition changes. Our style of life changes. Our expectations from life change. When we have fear from Allah our perspective of life changes when we have fear from Allah. Our perspective of life moves toward the spirituality and Islamic aspects. It is an important thing that the heart of a Momin needs to beat between the fear and love of Allah Almighty. In Quran it is said that:-

“Call on Him in fear and hope” ( Sura e Al araf)

If we have fear from Allah He loves us more and more. May Allah help us to understand His instruction and to change our life toward the right path (Amen).

Fasting is a Shield to Protect Man from the Fire of Hell

The building of Islam is standing on five pillars and fasting is one of the most important pillars of that building. Fasting is that worship which was consisted in other religion before Islam and it is still there. In Quran it is said that:-

"O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, even as it was prescribed for those before you that ye may ward off (evil)." (Surah Al Baqarah:183)

Reason of fasting
Every object has its reason and of course fasting has also the reasons behind this. Some important reasons of having fast are:
·         To make man able to get closer to Allah Almighty
·         To make man able to learn pity and righteousness
·         To make man able to attain Taqwa
·         To give man a chance to wipe out all of his sins
·         To remind man the blessings of Allah
·         To train man to control the willpower
·         To protect man from the fire of the hell

Fasting is a shield like that shield which give protection a soldier in the field of battle. Fasting gives protection to a Momin from the fire of hell which is worse.  When you have fast you try your level best to get rid from the sins. You try your level best to attain Taqwa which is the most important quality of a Momin. Fasting is not just about to remain hungry and thirsty but it’s all about to attain the happiness of Allah Almighty When a Momin will not commit the sin while having fast  he will get protection from the fir of hell. In Ramadan the doors of Jahanum remain close as  Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said that:-

"When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained." (Imam Bukhari)

The beloved prophet of Allah said that:-

Whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven." (Imam Bukhari).

This Hadith shows that whoever have fast with faith and hope will be able to get forgiveness from Allah. Now after Ramadan if he will not commit the sins he will be protected from the fire of hell. Hell is an painful and anguish place. Fasting is a shield which gives protection to man from the fire of hell. In Quran Allah says:-

“O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones.” (Quran 66:6)

Fasting is a worship which may able man to entre man in paradise. Abu Umma said:-
"I came to the Messenger of Allah (saw) and said: 'Order me to do a deed that will allow me to enter Paradise.' He said: 'Stick to fasting, as there is no equivalent to it.' Then I came to him again and he said: 'Stick to fasting."' (Imam Ahmad, Imam Nasa'i, and Imam Hakim).
May Allah give us the power to protect that shield which is a great blessing of Allah Almighty (Amen)

Itikaf - A special worship of Ramadan with full of blessings

Itikaf is a special worship of Ramadan. The man who is made only for worship of God has become indolent from his only purpose of creation. God loves his human. The spring of the mercy of Allah has come. The month of Ramadan is here. God wants that O man! Leave the indolent, break the chain of greediness, come in my court of honour and sit as my courtier for some days in a corner, leave the thinking about worldly affairs and do separate yourself from the family. There should remains nothing in your heart except the love for Allah. Remain busy in my worship. Feel shame on your indolent. For some days there is loneliness and after this blessings are there for you.  It is that point where God and man are there. This Sound is coming that it’s the time to ask from Allah, O the slaves of Allah and His prophet ask for whatever you want to ask. Today those hands will never remain empty who will ask from Allah. Everything will be granted to you. Show some Patience and forbear the pain for some days. If You are mine and this world is your’s .

If you want to ask about the value of Itikaf then ask from the true momin. If you want to know the hidden values of Itikaf then do worship of Allah during Itikaf with devotion. If you want forgiveness then weep in the court of Allah. If you want honour in this world and in the next world then stay in the court of Allah in the nights of Itikaf. If you want to enjoy in the love of Allah then make rosary of your heart of soul in the Dhikar of Allah. Everyone gets that which he wants to get.

O Momin! If  the blessings of Itekaf  are countless then come and sit for Itikaf. Those moments of life are best which pass in the Dhikar of Allah. The blessing of Itikaf from all other blessings is it is the most likeable worship of Allah. In this worship man leaves all his worldly affairs and sits in the house of Allah. He remain busy in worship of Allah for some days and get the closeness of Allah . The beloved prophet of Allah never leave Itikaf . It is narrated by Hazrat Aisha that:-

“The Prophet used to practice Itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan till he died and then his wives used to practice Itikaf after him.”

The meaning of Itikaf:-
·         In Islam the meaning if Itikaf is to stay in mosque with intention.
·         To stay in mosque with the intention of worship and for the happiness of Allah is called Itikaf.
·         Imam Alama Fakhr ud deen writes that in Islam Itikaf is the name to stay in mosque with the intention and fasting.

The reward of Itikaf:-

The divination of Itikaf and Mutkif can be guessed with that verse of   Quran in which it is told that Allah give order to Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail that clean the house of Allah for those who circumambulate of BaitAllah and do Itikaf.( sura e baqra: verse 125).

Hazrat Ibn e Abbas said that Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said about Mutkif he remains free from sins and get reward of the good deeds as he done deeds in whole life.( Sunan Ibn E Maja)

Hazrat Imam Hussain(RA) narrated that Holy prophet(PBUH) said that

“Who sit in Itikaf for ten days it is like he did two Haj and 2 Umras”.

Mutkif is like that man who stays in the court of Allah and says that I will not walk from here till I am not forgiven by Allah. When Mutkif sit for Itikaf by following the Sunnah of Holy prophet (PBUH) then he become dearest of Allah.

The start of Itikaf

Itikaf  is performed in the last Ashra of Ramadan and the last Ashra starts with the sunset of 20th Ramadan that’s why it is compulsory that Mutkif should be in Mosque at the  time of sunset. Our beloved prophet stayed in mosque from the morning of 20th Ramadan and if one can do this its better.

To hang e curtain and spread the mattress or bed cloth

Before the starting of Itikaf the place should be examined where you have to sit for Itikaf. In the corner where you want to sit a carpet or bed cloth should be spread on floor. If you want to hang the curtain then do this as well.

Important things about Itikaf

·         It is sunnah to sit for Itikaf from the evening of 20th Ramadan till 30th Ramadan. If the person who is having intention of Itikaf comes after Maghrib then Itikaf will not be done.
·         If all the people of the city leave Itikaf that they all will b given the answer and if one will sit from the whole city then the whole city will be free from answer.
·         At the time of the sun sitting of 20th Ramadan Mutkif should be in mosque or at the place of Itikaf.
·         For Mutkif it is important to be mature and clean. If Mutkif is woman then for her the permission of husband is important and she should sit in her home.
·         For Itikaf fasting and intention is important.
·          If Mutkif comes out of mosque without any serious trouble or physical reason Itikaf will not remain.
·         For Mutkif it is not important to remain always quit and cover the mouth.
·         If Mutkif cannot have fast because of illness then Itikaf will be no more.
·         If no one is at home to bring the meal for Mukif then he can go to home for having meal.

During Itikaf  if a person becomes ill:-

Illness has three types:-
1.      Serious illness: - If Mutkif is seriously ill that he can not stay in mosque then He can break the Itikaf.
2.      Minor illness: - The illness which is not serious like headache or minor fever should be forbear and should not come out from mosque.

Worships which should be done during Itikaf:-

Itikaf is that worship which cannot be done without staying in mosque. During this period Mutkif should do these things:-

·         Should offer nawafils
·         Should do Recite
·         Should do Dhikar
·         Should Offer Salat ul tasbih daily
·         Should offer Nimaz e tahajat

May Allah give us power to sit for Itikaf and to gather the blessings of this worship (amen).

Unity - The Real Strength

Islam is a complete code of life. It teaches unity and discipline to its followers. This great religion instructs toward brotherhood and unity. According to Islam all are equal. There is no concept of superiority and inferiority on the base of color and creed. Muslims of the whole world are bound by a common ideology.

Unity, faith and discipline are the basic and common principles and teachings of Islam. It is the demand of Quran and Sunnah of the great and last Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) that Muslims should work for the Unity of whole Ummah. Quran says that Muslims should be merciful to each other. In Hadith it is mentioned that Muslims are like a whole body, if one part of the body gets hurt the whole body will feel the pain. The holy book of Allah says that:-

“And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves”. (Al-Quran 3:103)
In the light of this verse we can say that it is a Quranic command that Muslims should remain united. But here the question is that is there such unity these days about which Quran has given command?

Muslim world is suffering from many problems and the reason behind this is the whole Ummah is not united. Day by day Muslims are facing the destruction and death. There are many Muslim groups who are fighting against each other. In 1923 it was the time when Greeks attacked on Turkey. It was a sorrowful moment because it was the attack on Islam. At that time Iqbal wrote a poem in which he gave the lesson of unity. The tile of that poem is “Taluh E Islam. He says in that poem that:-

"Hawas ne tukre tukre kar diya hay na’u insan ko
ukhuwwat ka bayan ho ja mohabbat ki zaban ho ja
ye Hindi, wo Khurasani, ye Afghani, wo Turani
tu ay sharmindayeh sahil uchhal kar bekaraan ho ja"

When we look at the present situation we can imagine that how much the soul of the Iqbal will be in restless condition. Muslims are not united today and that’s the basic problem and issue of the destruction of Muslim Ummah. Under current situation the great and golden principles of unity and brotherhood are the need of the hour. History shows that when Muslims were united they were the rulers of the vast area. They had to face disgrace whenever they lost unity. We must learn lesson for the sake of existence.

The enemies of the Muslims are very clever. They are working very hard to create disunity among the Muslim Ummah. They have their agents in all Muslim countries. They are having different slogans to create misunderstanding. Sectarianism and regionalism are their main weapons. The Jews in the Middle East, Hindus in the subcontinent and the capitalism of the West are bitterly against the Muslims. They cannot tolerate the prosperity of Islam. They are cunning and sharp. They work according to the set plans. The innocent Muslims are fallen a prey to their schemes and have lost unity. The situation of Kashmir, Bosnia and Palestine is in front of us. Non- Muslims are killing brutally to innocent Muslims and the other Muslim countries are not taking any action. They don’t have unity.

It is the time for all Muslim Ummah to awake and be united otherwise the situation will become more and worse. Muslim’s enemies are united and Muslims are scattered. There is need of brotherhood. Muslim scholars should deliver sermons on unity. Leaders of the whole Muslim world should play their role and should bring them under one banner.

Allah makes the promise that if w will remain united then we will be able to get the glory dignity and power and Allah does not break His promise. Let’s pray to Allah Almighty that he create unity in our hearts and in the path of Islam. (Amen)
